Lakeview Purchases New Water Jet Cutting System

After many months of analysis and cost justification we made a decision to buy a Water Jet Cutting System.  Water Jet Cutting is a technology with the advantage of being extremely accurate and able to cut complex high quality parts.  The Flow Machine that we purchased was designed specifically for our industry, and Flow is the industry leader.

It provides a clean, accurate cut without edge concavity, as is often evident on thick die cut gaskets.  Water Jet Cutting is intended for prototyping and initial runs from 1-1000 units.

Water Jet Cutting is advantageous for larger production runs where thicker materials with critical edge details, or designs with holes too close to the edge of a gasket for die cutting are needed.  Most rubber and foam materials can be cut with this method.
